Holiday Review

I am back in Oxford after a great 2.5 week holiday in Australia which despite a very hectic schedule of socialising mixed with some work on an important piece of course assessment, I found to be both enjoyable and refreshing.

It was great to see my girlfriend, family and friends and to catch up on the latest news while enjoying some warm and sunny autumn weather. If I missed you this time, please accept my apologies. I will catch you next time.

Photos are below and really say it all. But before glancing down at them you may be pleased to hear some news from last term. Not only did we won my final ever 15 man rugby game which was the College final ('Cuppers') on the last Friday in week 8, I am also reasonably confident that I passed my exams.

Exams were very tiring and I was glad to finally reach the end of them on the Thursday of week 10. Rather than crash out like I did at the end of Michaelmas term, on the Thursday night I ventured into London for a night out with two good mates Pierce and Chris. Plenty of imbibing was performed and some good laughs produced as I completely stacked it trying to hurdle a street barrier later in the evening. Johnny Knoxville would have been proud. I have footage of my attempt but don't know how to attach it to my blog. Will look into it.

As always, I hope you are all well. Look forward to updating you on this my final term in Oxford!

Cheers,
Doug.
